2023 Summer Scholar Programs
We signed Grace up for the Summer Scholar Program because she barely passed geometry as a freshman. We all knew she was able to get good grades in math, she just needed a good teacher to light that spark! She wasn't too sure at first about tutoring over the summer, but she really loved working with Elizabeth. Now it's October and algebra 2 is already going much better than this time last year.

Summer Session 1: June 5 - June 30
12 1:1 tutoring hours for each math or science subject. Students see their tutor 3 hours a week for 4 weeks. Tuition: $750 Registration Form Link Summer Session 2: July 6 -August 11. 12 1:1 tutoring hours for each math or science subject. Schedule is arranged based on student's summer availability. Make-up hours from August 14th-August 17th Tuition: $750 Registration available through July 15th Registration Form Link Summer Math Programs Geometry Pre-algebra *Algebra 1 *Algebra 2 Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry AP Calculus AB AP Calculus BC Statistics AP Statistics 5th Grade Math Review 6th Grade Math Review Summer Math Courses *We also highly recommend the Algebra 1 summer program for students who completed geometry this past school year and who will be taking Algebra 2 in the fall to review concepts for that course. Summer Science Programs Biology/AP Prep Biology AP Biology Chemistry/AP Prep Chemistry AP Chemistry Physics/AP Prep Physics AP Physics Our Summer Scholar Programs are for students entering 6th-12th grades and college. Summer Hours: Mondays-Fridays 10am-6pm. We arrange times based on the student's availability. There is an additional $250 tuition per summer program to work exclusively with Taso. Each summer program is for one subject. Students who are working on more than one subject may register for multiple summer programs during any summer session. |
Each math and science summer program is personalized to either help your student review material that was covered in school this year or to teach them new material that will be useful for their upcoming fall semester in school. We assign relevant homework for students who have time to practice during the summer and review concepts we cover during our sessions.

Students come to Illini Tutoring for a wide variety of reasons: some students want to get better grades next year, and other students just want to maintain what they've learned this past year. Some students want to get higher ACT/SAT scores, and other students are worried about submitting their very best writing with their college applications. All of our programs inspire students to learn for the sake of learning, while also giving them invaluable math fundamentals and science skills that will help them do better in future classes.

SAT/ACT Test Prep and College App Essay Writing
Tuition for test prep tutoring (ACT, SAT, PSAT, SSAT) and college app essay writing is as follows:
- $1400 for twice-a-week tutoring (12 total prep hours)
- $2075 for three-times-a-week tutoring (18 total prep hours)
- $2700 for four-times-a-week tutoring (24 total prep hours)
