Science TutoringOur tutors all have a strong science background, including biology, chemistry, and physics. We help students make sense of difficult science classes. Many of our students need help in both science and math, so not only can we help students in both subjects, we can help students see how math and science are connected.

Tutoring Packages
We highly recommend new students register for twice-a-week tutoring. We also recommend twice per week tutoring for students taking AP classes.
At Illini Tutoring, students who sign up for Math & Science Tutoring sign up for packages of sessions or hourly tutoring of in-person tutoring at our Illini Tutoring office or via Zoom. Parents or guardians schedule the sessions after registering.
Summer hours: Mondays-Fridays 10am-6pm
Fall Semester hours: Mondays-Fridays: 3:30pm-9:30pm, Sundays: 10am-6pm
Which semester package should your student sign up for?
Honors-Fall Semester 18 hours: One tutoring hour a week.
Ideal for students who need help maintaining a high grade in only one class, like algebra, geometry, algebra II, biology, and chemistry.
Scholar-Fall Semester 36 hours: Two tutoring hours a week. We strongly encourage new students to start with this Tutoring Plan!
Ideal for students who need help maintaining or raising their grade in one or two classes, or raising their grade in a higher-level math or science class, like precalculus, calculus, physics, and AP classes. We also highly recommend this for students who are preparing for the AP exams later in May.
Premier-Fall Semester 54 hours: Three tutoring hours a week.
Ideal for students who really struggle with one or two math and/or science classes in school. Also recommended for students who need to pull up their grades. This package is very popular for high school juniors and seniors who are taking multiple AP classes.
We also offer hourly tutoring and packages of 6 tutoring hours.
