Illini Tutoring's Test Prep tutoring program is led by Taso Sotiropoulos. Students and parents trust Illini Tutoring to raise their scores on the ACT, SAT, PSAT, and SSAT. Every year, we serve hundreds of students from Champaign, Urbana, Mahomet, Monticello, Danville, and beyond (via Zoom and in-person in Champaign). All of the tutoring is one-to-one.

No two students test the same way. That's why we customize our one-on-one test prep tutoring programs to meet the unique needs of each student. All students take a diagnostic exam before tutoring begins for prep packages of 12 hours or more. Then our Test Prep Director carefully analyzes each student's diagnostic exam results and develops a Test Prep Curriculum that considers factors including diagnostic exam results, number of previous testing attempts, grades from previous classes, learning styles, special accommodations, and more. Students use a set of testing strategies designed for them and they focus on the material that will help them maximize their test score.

Our Test Prep program is designed for students who are ready to work hard and study smart. Our Test Prep program emphasizes efficient studying, but there aren't many shortcuts. We know Test Prep is a significant investment of time and money, so we ensure that our students wake up on exam day as prepared as possible. We also do everything we can to teach our students how to use these study strategies and knowledge in the future, long after exam day. After all, the ACT, SAT, PSAT, and SSAT aren't the end of a journey: they are the first step towards each student's major goals.
