Bring our proven ACT and SAT prep programs to your school! More states are using the ACT for statewide testing and for good reason! Both the ACT and SAT are tried-and-true exams that has been perfected over the past 56 years. Unlike other statewide tests, students can submit their ACT and SAT results with their college applications. In addition to the convenience that in-school testing offers, students who may have otherwise not considered going to college may take the test and suddenly qualify for merit-based scholarships.
Students have the option to prepare for the ACT and SAT. When students are prepared, they score higher on these exams, and this means your school could receive additional funding, awards, or a higher ranking based on your students' ACT results. |
What can Illini Tutoring Do for YOUR School?
- Administer diagnostic and progress ACT and SAT exams
- Teach dynamic, impactful classes at a location convenient for your students
- Provide students, teachers, and administrators progress reports of students' performance on the ACT and SAT
- Relieve the burden of test prep from your teaching staff
- Give your school a competitive edge by raising average ACT and SAT scores
With Illini Tutoring's Satellite ACT or SAT Prep Program, your students can prepare for either exam. We contract with your school so that either our instructional staff or your teachers can teach the program. We grade the student's exams and continually update your school's customized ACT prep curriculum based on how your students are performing on the diagnostic exams. If you choose to have your teachers teach the classes, they will have minimal grading and no lesson planning - they simply follow our curriculum. We provide plenty of support while the class is running, and teachers can call or email us at any time with questions. Alternatively, we can come to your school and teach either the ACT or SAT prep class.
Our Satellite ACT and SAT Prep Programs can be fully customized to your school's schedule. The class is a 12 session class with 2 diagnostic, full-length ACT's or SAT's, for a total of 12 instructional hours and 6 testing hours. We recommend schools offer either a 6-week (twice-a-week) program or a 12 week (once-a-week) program. You can begin the course at any time during the school year or summer, and offer it as an extracurricular class or a regular class during the school day. Our course averages a cost of $350-$450 per student. Schools can pay for their students in full, pass the full cost to the students, or subsidize the cost for some or all of the students. Students will need access to the Internet on exam days (computer labs, laptops or tablets work well).
